Mijem is most often favorably compared to the finest buffets in Las Vegas so we regret you didn't care for some of the dishes.
All pastries, breads and desserts are made in our own Bakery with a full complement that ranges from Head Chef to Sous Chefs to Line Cooks. We are sorry you didn't care for some of the dishes as each one is made fresh each day with the food quickly replaced if it does not meet high standards for quality, temperature and taste. Hi Webcave-We appreciate your visit and review which primarily focuses on award-winning Mijem Buffet. Yes you can get a full tummy and its your choices to be content with. Maybe we are spoiled as we do cruise a lot and ship buffets are always good. The king crab was good and the roast beef was so-so. Some selection we had were doubtful, the crab Rangoon needed laces it was so hard. The buffet has lots of selections including crab legs and roast beef. The rewards club also has other perks so if go to Fire Keepers its worth using. The restaurant is called Mijem right of the main floor. Its a $30 per person buffet, but if you join the 'Red Hot Rewards Club' which is free, you get a $4.00 discount on the buffet. We had heard they had a good buffet so we looked it up.
Yes there is a non-smoking area but its on the main floor but open to smoke drift. Unfortunately the casino floor allows smoking so that's a big turn off for us.
We are not big on gambling but do rarely. The hotel seems nice and the pool is good.
